Mr Martinez: This subject suffers from a DELUSIONAL DISORDER. This is
the classic form of a delusional disorder. This individual suffers from
a CLUSTER of delusions, usually involving a particular theme [the Billy
Meier case/UFOs in general).
They may feel that others are out to "get" them, that they are being
cheated, conspired against, maligned, spied on and so forth. When
characterizing the symptoms of this disorder, it also involves delusions
of grandiosity and jealousy as well as persecution.

one of the prominent cluster of delusions Mr Korff suffers from is
DELUSIONAL SPEECH. Seen most commonly in delusions of grandeur, when

AND HOW MUCH OF A RUNAWAY?!
SCENARIO #1: Shawn Hornbeck was kidnapped by Michael Devlin in October
2002 and it's that simple DESPITE numerous opportuinities to ESCAPE by
Hornbeck while Devlin was no where to be seen and was either at work or
elsewhere.
SCENARIO #2: Shawn Hornbeck was kidnapped, didn't think it was so bad
being "kidnapped," was UNhappy with his home life and BECAME a runaway.
SCENARIO #3: Did Shawn Hornbeck and his "abductor" Michael Devlin meet
on-line and agree for Shawn to live with him? Was the "kidnap" a front
for a runaway? Whatever the method really was of their meeting, SHAWN
WAS A WILLING PARTICIPANT.
BACKGROUND: Shawn Hornbeck was 11 years old when he disappeared from his
home in October 2002. Age 11 became
12; became 13; became 14; became 15.
Shawn had EVERY opportunity to contact his parents or to call the
police, but he didn't. In fact, Shawn put a somewhat taunting message on
his parents' Web site devoted to finding Shawn, and even signed the
message "Shawn Devlin," claiming the family name of the man accused of
kidnapping him.
He had TWO (2) encounters with police over the more than four years,
both dealing with bicycle issues. Shawn gave no plea to the officers for
assistance; telling them also that his last name was "Devlin" NOT
Hornbeck! 10 months after Shawn Hornbeck's disappearance, he spoke with
police to report his bike had been stolen but gave no clue that he was a
missing child, a newspaper reported Saturday.
The reported reason for Shawn's failure to call for help was that he was
supposedly threatened by Mr. Devlin; that he would kill Shawn and his
family. This seems to be rather weak as an excuse considering that a
kidnapper in such a high profile case would almost certainly be spending
most of his future life behind bars.
Attached is an MSNBC report drawn from an article from the St. Louis
Post Dispatch dealing with Shawn's missed opportunities to be "freed"
from his abductor. If Mr. Devlin did indeed kidnap Shawn more than four
years ago, then Shawn's status as "kidnap victim" changed to a new
status as "runaway" with the very first opportunity he had to acquire
help in being returned to his parents.
In my estimation, Shawn's biggest worry while living with Devlin was NOT
"being found," but rather that he would be "found out."
FAST FACTS:
– Every year, ~ 58,200 children are abducted by NON-family members;
– Around 99% will be recovered;
– Most stranger or NON-family abductions are relatively SHORT TERM
(and NOT 4 years!) as the passage of time increases the likelihood that
the kidnapper(s) will be discovered; only if the "victim" cooperates can
the "kidnapping" continue to succeed!;
– Of the 155 cases classified as "most serious" each year, 57% will be
recovered while the other 40 - 50 will be killed; much more common that
the kids live than die.
