OCTOBER NEW TITLESPlease excuse the choppy look of this catalog—I'm late doing it and in trying to salvage text that was originally written for e-mail transmission, I couldn't get it to adapt to the "destination format" when I tried to transfer it to this document.

1.  Internet Sacred Text Archive, compilers.  THE INTERNET SACRED TEXT ARCHIVE.  ISTA, no date.  CD-Rom, version 4.0a.  When it comes to "sacred texts" your research and rare book worries just vanished forever.  For this single CD-Rom ties you in to over 900 (and counting—nearly every week new items are added) rare, classic or esoteric works, ancient to modern, the vast majority complete texts.  Need the entire Mahabarata?  It's here, just connect to it.  Need Waite's "The Hermetic Museum," or Manly Hall's "Secret Teachings of All Ages"?  They're here.  Need the rare "Friar Bacon His Discovery of the Miracles of Art, Nature and Magick"?  You got it.  In fact, it would take more pages to list the 902 items currently contained here than I have pages to devote to this entire catalog.  The majority will be actual "sacred texts," famous and obscure, from all religions and beliefs of the world, but there are also huge offerings of folklore and mythology from many regions and countries, as well as many old classic works in the sacred sciences (great run of alchemy), philosophy and social science.  True, you will either have to study these on your computer or run the expense of printing them out, but the main thing is that you will have acquired an incredible 900 + item holding of the world's greatest metaphysical and spiritual works—in a space no larger than will cover the palm of your hand.  No more inter-library loans or long trips to libraries which may have hard copies of such works, and you can use this CD whenever your schedule permits, home or away, 24/7.  Maybe the damned computer is good for something noble after all!  It will also free up money you had perhaps earmarked for rare books so that you can now send it Arcturus's way for a bunch of our regular titles—you know, the ones you have let go by for years, and which by now have left you hundreds of books behind in your library-building.  In my opinion this is the single greatest "book" I have ever offered, hands down, and a true miracle for those studying in religious or metaphysical areas.  At $49.95 it's an absolute steal!

2.  Andrews, Larry.  SECRETS OF THE SILK ROAD: FINDING THE SACRED BOOKS OF THE GOBI .  Bibliographical data lacking at press time.  Stock due during October.  The Silk Road wandered through some of the most utterly fascinating parts of the Earth—Central Asia—and still evokes wildly exciting destinations such as Samarkand, Khotan, and Yarkand, and those magnificent ranges of Koko Nor, the Kuen Loon and Tien Shan.  And this is not even mentioning the many tales which speak of Shambhala and Agharti, of the now-buried cities of the Gobi and of the ancient libraries which are supposed to exist, hidden in ancient  monasteries  perched on inaccessible precipices on unexplored mountain ranges (cf. Ossendowski, Roerich, Hedin, Stein).  Whatever the outcome of the book, the lure of such places is hopelessly irresistible—so let yourself surrender to it!  $19.95

3.  Bartholomew, Alick.  HIDDEN NATURE: THE STARTLING INSIGHTS OF

VIKTOR SCHAUBERGER.  AUP, 2005.  Lg. softbound, 288pp.  Gardening at

its best is one of the most intimate connections a human being can have with a

non-human realm--a highly intuitive method of communication with Nature.  Vik-

tor Schauberger recognized that early in the 20th century and left in his books

and notes a legacy of his own relationship with water, plants and cosmic

energy.  Having just been clobbered over the head with the most obvious

example there could be of our abysmal failures at "mastering nature," and at

creating the ideal materialist-capitalist-neocon society, it is absolutely impera-

tive that we hear Schauberger / Bartholomew out--so that we might gain some

insight ourselves into how we ought to be relating to nature and to ourselves as

a species.  It's all here, people......if only, only, only, only we would stop our

damned, suicidal, and just plain wrong way of life and consciousness.  As

self-aware beings, we must literally re-make our perception of life itself--and then

LIVE it.  6 billion sub-humans will have to be removed, but in the end it will

leave us with a humanity capable of reaching out to the entire cosmos.

Essential reading, start re-shaping your consciousness, $22.95

4.  Atwater, P.M.H.  BEYOND THE INDIGO CHILDREN: THE NEW CHILDREN AND THE COMING OF THE FIFTH WORLD.  Bear, 2005.  Trade softbound, 256pp.  Due about Sept. 22.  Well, something surely needs to be done about us, the human species.  The Earth plane seems to be either a dumping ground, or perhaps a penal institution, for incorrigibly defective beings from around the galaxy—a hellhole overloaded with supposedly self-aware beings who seem incapable of raising their dysfunctional levels of consciousness to the point at which they may exist on their own in a basically spiritual universe.  It may also be that the Earth is simply a pre-school in which very inexperienced souls learn (by way of a very drawn-out and painful series of lives) their eternal life skills.  Whatever the truth, it is apparent that this realm has broken down completely.  But how to fix it???   One way would be to introduce advanced beings into the species—beings often referred to as "Avatars" in older occult literature.  But even they have to go through a physical childhood here; the term "Indigo Children" was coined by someone to designate these prodigies who are growing up rapidly among us, presumably to start showing their talents and their abilities to raise human consciousness en masse so that we defectives may simultaneously reach a higher level of existence.  There are functioning Avatars among us already.  A few examples drawn from the musical world alone would surely include Martha Argerich (try her recording of the Prokofiev 3rd Piano Concerto for the most perfect performance ever made of any musical work!), violinist Itzhak Perlman, virtuosos Vladimir Horowitz, Arthur Rubinstein, and Jascha Heifetz, as well as composers Claude Debussy and Maurice Ravel, so eerily alike in their creative approaches, who brought musical expression to the most sublime levels thus far experienced.  I will leave the reader to think of others in other fields.  The examples I have chosen are all super-human in their abilities, far exceeding the levels that ordinary humans can achieve.  Avatars are here to raise our hopes, our aspirations, our consciousness.  They do it through music, through art, through science, through invention and through example.  These are my ideas.  I'm sure the author has much more to say on the matter, and ties it into the fulfillment of the Mayan calendar.  $16.00

5. Bates, Gary.  ALIEN INTRUSION: UFOS AND THE EVOLUTION CONNECTION.  Master Bks, 2005.  Trade softbound, 2nd prtg., 377pp.  This fundamentalist author clanks around in the chains by which he is bound to the stereotypical god-icon of the spiritually-challenged for 377 pages, yet manages to say very little that will animate anyone except his fellow blockheads.  $14.95

6.  Beckley, Timothy G.  TIMOTHY GREEN BECKLEY'S STRANGE SAGA.  Global Comm., 2005.  Large format softbound, paging not known, plus audio CD.  The book consists of Beckley's columns from Ray Palmer mags, Saga and UFO Report.  The CD is a one-hour interview conducted by Sean Casteel, in which there are "many important findings not previously revealed."  This is probably semi-autobiographical (the CD is most likely where the stories are) and will undoubtedly serve to tell you something about Mister UFO—the least inhibited ufologist who ever lived.  $25.

7. Bennett, Colin. AMERICAN DEMONOLOGY: FLYING SAUCERS OVER THE WHITE HOUSE.  Headpress, 2005.  Trade softbound.  This is a portrait of Capt. Edward J. Ruppelt, the besieged head of Project Blue Book in the early 1950s.  Ruppelt guided Blue Book through the 1952 wave.  After leaving the service he wrote his combined memoirs / comments, under the title The Report on Unidentified Flying Objects (1956)His book is still regarded as one of the best ever written on the subject (though he was apparently pressured to water down his conclusions in a "revised edition" published in 1958).  Colin Bennett specializes in "portraitures" of leading UFO researchers; he previously wrote books about George Adamski and Charles Fort. This title was scheduled for May but is now due out in the UK, with American availability sometime in August.  Retail price is supposed to be $13.95, but I don't believe it—the Euro price is a lot higher than that.  Should be in the $19-20 area, but check before ordering.  Stock due later this month

8.  Brophy, Thomas G.  THE ORIGIN MAP: DISCOVERY OF A PREHISTORIC, MEGALITHIC, ASTROPHYSICAL MAP AND SCULPTURE OF THE UNIVERSE.  iUniverse, 2005.  Trade softbound, 184pp.  Another piece of the global puzzle involving the astronomical knowledge of the ancients—the megalithic complex at Nabta Playa, Egypt—whose implications are staggering for historians.  The complex is identified, and verified by calculation, as a super-accurate 3-dimensional representation of "the universe" (one wonders if that should possibly read "galaxy," as the "Universe" is a mighty big place, and incredible accuracy is not a term that even our most presumptuous scientists of today go around applying to any of today's discoveries, for admitted lack of knowledge about them). If it is "Universe," then get ready for a huge academic bombshell when word of this book gets out! $14.95

8A.  Browne, Silvia.  PHENOMENON: Everything You Need to Know About the Paranormal (autographed copy) (H) from Dutton, 2005. There's no slowing down for Sylvia Browne. For nearly fifty years she has been giving countless readers and listeners spiritual advice and psychic predictions. Now she offers a complete guide to all things unexplainable in this A-to-Z compendium of everything on The Other Side that influences our life here on Earth, with evocative stories, useful explanations and approximately 20 illustrations to help make life on The Other Side real for readers. An easy-to-use reference full of hope and guidance.   $24.95

9.  Buchanan, Lynn.  THE SEVENTH SENSE: THE SECRETS OF REMOTE VIEWING AS TOLD BY A "PSYCHIC SPY" FOR THE U.S. MILITARY.  Paraview / Pocket, 2005.  Trade soft, 297pp.  How the U.S. military tried to get a leg up on the competition by training suitably apt candidates to spy on the enemy by using psychic sight.  Can that really be done?  See the stories in the book for the answer.  $14.00

10. (DVD)  Bunnell, James.  MARFA LIGHTS.  49 mins.  Featuring actual Marfa Lights video, plus "when and where to look" and "mystery light characteristics."  Nobody's figured these lights out yet—take a look--$14.95

11.  2006 HUBBLE SPACE CALENDAR.  A whole year full of those fantastic Hubble photos!  $13.95

12.  Chalker, Bill.  HAIR OF THE ALIEN: DNA & OTHER FORENSIC EVIDENCE OF ALIEN ABDUCTION.  Paraview, 2005.  Trade softbound, supposed to be 350pp.  12 years ago in Australia, one Peter Khoury awakened to find two "women" kneeling on his bed.  They apparently pounced on poor Peter in a "physical assault," and then vanished instantly.  Just another "alien encounter" case?  Yes, except for one additional detail—one of the females left behind two whitish-blonde hairs.  The genetic analysis of these hair samples is the subject of this book—and for the first time, possible forensic physical evidence obtained from non-human beings in our reality following a close encounter with a human!  It does not prove extraterrestrial reality, but the case certainly opens up many more questions than it answers.  $14.00

13.  Coleman, Loren.  MYSTERIOUS AMERICA.  Paraview, 2001.  HC, revised ed., 334pp, here is the only hardcover version of this Fortean classic.  Only a very few available, $28.95

14. Commander X.  TELEPORTATION: FROM HOLLYWOOD TO OFFICIAL U.S. AIR FORCE LABS…  Inner Light, 2005.  Lg. softbound, includes CD with the book.  How about teleporting some cash from your credit card to Arcturus's bank account.  $22.95

15.  Commander X.  STRANGE AND UNEXPLAINED DEATHS AT THE HANDS OF THE SECRET GOVERNMENT.  Inner Light, 2005.  Lg. softbound, paging not known, guess about 100.  I would imagine we will find such inexplicable deaths as that of Jim Keith (died of infection following surgery), Ron Bonds (burst vessels from food poisoning), and the usual Jessup-Barker-McDonald types.  $20.00

16.  Connors, Wendy, Compiler.  HUMANOIDS: AN AUDIO RETROSPECTIVE.  Faded Discs, 2005.  MP3 on CD.  34 tracks, 13 hours, 5 mins running time.  34 different tracks all concerning eyewitness testimony about aliens associated with landed UFOs.  Some of the greats are to be found here, including Olavo Fontes on the Villas-Boas case, Gary Wilcox, Joe Simonton describes the pancakes some aliens gave him, Leonard Stringfield's 70-minute lecture on aliens and crashed saucers, and a 74-minute discussion about encounters with UFOnauts featuring Ted Bloecher, Frank Salisbury and Curtis Fuller.  Rare and irreplaceable UFO audio!!  $25.00

17. Connors, Wendy, compiler.  PROJECT BLUE BOOK.  Faded Discs, 2005.  15
hours of fantastic audio, 75 tracks, wtih Ruppelt, Donald Loedding (son of Al-
fred :Loedding). Dewey Fournet, H. Quitanella, numerous others.  $25.00

18.   Cox, Wyatt.  UFO AND BIGFOOT SIGHTINGS IN ALABAMA.  The author, no date.  Trade softcover, 121pp, few photos.  The author opens with a list of 12 theories for UFO activity, then continues with a case catalog of Alabama UFO & bigfoot cases, 1934-2003.  There is also a chapter on the Fyffe cattle mute cases, another on the Falkville "tin man," and a third on the St. Florian spook lights.  Great regional ufology!  $13.95

19.  Cruttenden, Walter.  LOST STAR OF MYTH AND TIME.  St. Lynn's Pr., 2005.  Trade softcover, 368pp.  Here's another academic bombshell for you this month—would you believe that the sun may in fact be a binary star?  This book explores the ancient concept of "the great year," a period  which the ancients believed represented a cycle of time which alternated dark and golden ages.  The concept was long thought to be allegorical, but now there is astronomical evidence to suggest that it has a good basis in fact, based on studies which show that the Earth does not change its orientation toward things which are inside the solar system at the same rate it changes orientation toward objects outside of it.  This discrepancy can only be caused by the sun's relationship to another star—thus leading our journey through space to cause us to go through "benevolent space" at some points and through "malevolent space" at other times (I have to admit that I have often made half-jokes about us running into a "patch of lousy space" to account for waves of really bad news in our realm).  The author goes on to look for this missing star, and also brings us the possibly hopeful news that thanks to this binary orbit of ours, we are being brought into a part of space which will enable us to "raise our consciousness en masse."  Would that we'd enter space which would snuff out all the jerks, morons and unfit, as well as all of the humans who haven't worked to raise their own consciousness!    There'd be precious few left—talk about a Golden Age!!!  $19.95

20.  Danelek, J. Allen.  MYSTERY OF REINCARNATION: THE EVIDENCE & ANALYSIS OF REBIRTH.  Llewellyn, 2005,  trade softbound, 329pp.  Wide-ranging and balanced survey of all as- pects of the reincarnation debate, pro and con, but tending toward positive acceptance of the need for reincarnation and for the mechanics  by which reincarnation takes place.  $16.95

21.  Demurger, Alain.  LAST TEMPLAR: THE TRAGEDY OF JACQUES DE MOLAY, LAST GRAND MASTER OF THE TEMPLE.  Trade softbound, bibliographical details lacking at press time.  Biog of a figure often associated with Freemasonry and the highest echelons of Templar secrets.  $18

22.  Devereux, Paul.  FAIRY PATHS AND SPIRIT ROADS: EXPLORING OTHERWORLDLY ROUTES IN THE OLD & NEW WORLDS.  Trade softbound.  This will be of use to students of ley lines, Nazca-like paths, fairy lore and earth currents.  $14.95

23.  Douglass, Elaine.  INVISIBILITY & UFOS: CASE REPORTS, VIDEO SUGGEST

     THE REALITY.  MUFON, 2005.  8 1/2 x 11, stapled wraps, unpaged (37), offprint

from 2005 MUFON Symposium Proceedings, plus additions.  Based on the

"Duryea video" of 1989, which shows a UFO wavering in and out of visibility.  In

     stock, $10.00

25.  Farrell, Joseph P.  THE GIZA DEATH STAR DESTROYED.  AUP, 2005.  Trade softbound, 287pp.  If you've been with this from the first volume, you will probably want to see how it all turned out.  But if you plan to read this volume while skipping the other 2, please be advised that the "Death Star" may well have been destroyed because it wasn't a very good idea in the first place.  $16.95

26. Fernandes, Joaquim, and D'Armada, Fina.  HEAVENLY LIGHTS: THE APPARITIONS OF FATIMA AND THE UFO PHENOMENON.  Ecce Nova, 2005.  Trade softbound, 264pp.   Illustrated, notes.  This is a kind of relative investigation, in which each aspect of Fatima: the sights, the sounds, the scents, the colors and all of the various effects caused in the physical environment—the spinning of the sun, the instantaneous drying effect after the shower, the manifestation of a "figure" above the little tree, and many others as reported by witnesses—are all compared to their exact counterparts drawn from the most reputable UFO sightings, often sightings from Portuguese UFO records.  The net result is a case for Fatima having been a UFO encounter, and the claim is backed up by scientific physical analysis of the available data. $22.95

27.   Flowers, Stephen, trans.  SECRET KING: KARL MARIA WILIGUT--HIMMLER'S

LORD OF THE RUNES.  Trade softbound, 128pp.  One of the seminal—and more shadowy—

Figures among proto-Nazis, Wiligut was tasked with creating the SS mythos, based on the

already-existing racial mysticism of Guido von List. In this book much of the extant writings

of Wiligut and some writings about him are collected and the whole helps to place Heinrich

Himmler in his proper context within the Nazi hierarchy.   $18.00

27Friedman, Stanton T.  TOP SECRET/MAJIC:  THE STORY OF OPERATION

     MAJESTIC-12 & THE GOVERNMENT'S UFO COVER-UP.  Marlowe, 2005.

Trade softbound.  New edition of this,  with new foreword.  $14.95

28.  Geryl, Patrick.  WORLD CATACLYSM IN 2012.  Trade softbound, 2005.  Bibliographical details

not yet known.  We found Geryl's previous book—about prophecies concerning the expiration

of the Mayan Calendar in 2012—to be on the hyper-emotional, even hysterical side.  Now that

we are a few years closer to the target, I suppose we will find him even more revved up. $16.95

29. Goldstone, Lawrence and Nancy.  THE FRIAR AND THE CIPHER: THE UNSOLVED MYSTERY OF THE MOST UNUSUAL MANUSCRIPT IN THE WORLD.    HC, bibliographical data not known at press time.  This is another new title about the Voynich Manuscript—as such it will make a great addition to the "strange manuscript" section of your library, the one you began when you bought Kennedy's book about the Voynich Manuscript (see later in this catalog).  $26.00

30.  Greenfield, Art.  WARNING.  The author, 2001.  Trade softbound, 477pp, photo section.  An alarmist harangue based on the (author's) irrational fear that aliens are here to harvest human bodies and/or parts thereof.  It's long, but it's written in a lively style, and—right or wrong—the author has a lot to say about the UFO Experience and the way in which human society may find itself in very hot water sooner than it ever dreamed possible.  Give it a chance—it'll keep you reading for weeks.  $27.95

31Guenon, Rene.  THE KING OF THE WORLD.  Sophia Perennis, 2004.  Trade

softbound, 77pp.  Guenon in English!  This book is the result of a conference

held by Guenon as a consequence of questions raised by Ossendowski's fam-

ous Beasts, Men and Gods, a "travel novel" describing a harrowing escape

Ossendowski once had to make, and which took him through Mongolia, where

he learned much about the traditions of Shambhala and of the King of the World,

the underground ruler who was claimed to be a prime mover of events taking

place in the surface world.  The King of the World is in its own right a famous

work, and until now, a tough find.  $18.95

32. Haas, George, et al.       THE CYDONIA CODEX: REFLECTIONS FROM MARS.  Trade softbound, paging not known at press time.  This was out last year as a CD item which offered the opportunity to print it out if one wanted.  Now you can avoid all of that hassle, for here is a ready-made book version of the material.  This takes Cydonia one step further, by tracing counterparts of the images observed (from a verrrrrry great distance!) on Mars) to Earthly images which appear similar—most notably in Mayan art and architecture.  You may draw your own inferences.  $18.95

33.  Hall, Richard.  UFO SIGHTINGS IN THE NEW MILLENNIUM—2005 EDITION.  FUFOR, 2005.  Lg. booklet, 40+ pages.  Updated version!  $10.00

34.  Hamilton, William F. III.  TIME TRAVEL NOW!  Inner Light, 2005.  Lg. softbound, paging not given.  There are also 2 audio CDs included, but there is no word regarding their contents.  However, there is a reference to "added material by Commander X and Brad Steiger, so one suspects that the 2 CDs get filled that way.  $29.95

35. Hammond, Timothy L.  THE CHILLICOTHE UFO CHRONICLES: CONTACT 2005.  Xlibris, 2005.  108pp.  Grammatically-challenged ex-cop writes a ufo book—just barely!  Much fractured syntax and functional illiteracy.  Buy it if you study regional ufology (Ohio)—you might learn a couple of new things.  But the overall impression here is that a true—and horrifying—dark age is rapidly settling over humanity now.  In another 25 years hardly anyone alive will know how to read or write.  $20.95.

36.  Harpur, Patrick.  DAIMONIC REALITY: A FIELD GUIDE TO THE OTHERWORLD.  Idyll Arbor, 2003.  HC, reissue of 1993 original.  "Harpur connects the old-fashioned fairies to the modern occupants of UFOs.  He highlights the similarities in sightings of older black dogs, more recent mystery cats, and Yetis, Yowies and Bigfoot.  Lights in the sky have existed throughout history; once they were seen as witches, now they are UFOs.  The ephemeral materializations of spiritualism's séances have been replaced by tangible crop circles."  This book is now going for over $50 on the net—we want to bring this excellent title back at its correct, non-ripoff price--$28.00

37.  Hill, Betty.  A COMMON SENSE APPROACH TO UFOS.  The author, 1995.  Trade softbound, 176pp.  Wonderful reminiscences by Betty Hill, the heroine of "The Interrupted Journey" and one of ufology's immortals.  I have just a few new copies of this horses-mouth delight.  $15.95

38.  Houran, James.  A SEARCH FOR MEANING IN THE RAMEY DOCUMENT FROM THE ROSWELL UFO CASE.  FUFOR, 2006.  Lg. booklet, 76pp.  An overview of the controversy, plus results of analyses by various independent photo experts concerning the viability of the enhanced images so far retrieved.  $10.00

39.  Joseph, Frank.  THE ATLANTIS ENCYCLOPEDIA.  New Page, 2005.  Trade softbound, quarto, 311pp, 2 color photo sections, basic bibliog.   Seemingly hit-or-miss collection of references and definitions relating to Atlantean research, culled from archaeology, folklore, mythology and history.  It is short on some of the more recent trends in Atlantology (no mention of Cuban or Cypriot discoveries, and referencing only older Bimini Road research while omitting all mention of Dr. Greg Little and his work there—to name just a few glaring omissions).  A work such as this really needs to be expanded into perhaps 3 or even 6 volumes to be effective, and so, while this is the first Atlantis Encyclopedia, it should easily be surpassed by the second.  Too bad, for in more focused hands it could have been a fascinating and important reference work.  $19.95

40.  Kennedy, Gerry, and Churchill, R.  THE VOYNICH MANUSCRIPT: AN EXTRAORDINARY BOOK WHICH HAS DEFIED INTERPRETATION FOR CENTURIES.  Trade softbound.  Finally made it to our shelves as a softbound.  We will ship back orders and will fill new orders at $14.00 while stock lasts.

41.  Kephas, Aeolus.  THE LUCID VIEW: INVESTIGATIONS INTO OCCULTISM, UFOLOGY AND PARANOID AWARENESS.  AUP, 2004.  Trade softbound, 212pp, numerous photos.  The subject of paranoia as an operative element in everyday society is admittedly an uncomfortable one to grapple with directly.  And yet, someone's gotta do it, both at the creative level and at the interpretive level (author and reader).  The author finds paranoia seeping into every crevice and orifice of society, fecundating monsters such as Charles Manson and such analysts as Robert Anton Wilson alike.   Paranoia is there because the possibility is there that the universe (or its guiding consciousness) is not sane according to our accepted notions of sane sanity.  One of us—either the universe or our human perception of the universe—must be wrong.  This is an attempt, and a not obviously insane one at that, to sort it all out and make "sense" of it.   $14.95

42.   King, David.  FINDING ATLANTIS: A TRUE STORY OF GENIUS, MADNESS AND AN EXTRAORDINARY QUEST FOR A LOST WORLD.  Harmony, 2005.  HC, 309pp, illus., bibliog., index.  This is the story of Olof Rudbeck and his theories about Atlantis.  Who??  You know—Olof Rudbeck, a Swede who lived at the high-water mark of human civilization, the 17th century, and who published a book in 1679 that almost single-handedly created the fascination which flourishes even today regarding a drowned civilization known as Atlantis, and which Plato had immortalized over 2000 years ago in his Timeas and Critias.  Here is Rudbeck's amazing life rediscovered, and his 30-year search for tangible evidence of Atlantis in the far north of Sweden recounted.  Excellent reading, $23.00

43.  Knight, Christopher, and Butler, Alan.  CIVILIZATION ONE: UNCOVERING THE SUPER-SCIENCE OF PREHISTORY.  Cygnus, 2005.  HC, 272pp.  Knight and Butler focus on the unit of measurement known as the "Megalithic Yard"—precisely 82.966656 cm.—which was used to construct thousands of structures in Britain at a time pre-dating the world's oldest organized cultures.  It was part of a general scientific knowledge which exceeds ours of today, and which might have been lost to the world forever had not scientists finally recognized its super-advanced implications.  The authors show us how other units of measurement, employed by different peoples and seemingly unrelated to the megalithic yard, can be proven to have incredibly close relationships to it.  In the final analysis, the level of understanding of the Earth's circumference is so pervasive throughout ancient civilizations, and so far exceeds "coincidence," that only one hypothesis can account for it: that it was imparted to early civilized man by "Civilization One," an advanced group of beings who had arrived from offworld in the remote past.  When you are brought to the conclusion that only one hypothesis accounts for an apparent enigma, you go with it.   $24.95

44.  Leon, Dorothy.  IS JEHOVAH AN E.T.?  Ozark Mtn, 2003.  Trade softbound, 296pp, illus.  Jehovah is here unmasked as a manipulating E.T. who came here as others before him had,  "reaping Earth's minerals, mating with the natives and manipulating earthly politics."  Eventually Jesus had to be sent down here to nullify this "father of lies."  This isn't exactly what you learned in Sunday school, but the author may be on the right track in suggesting that humanity was tampered with long ago.  $14.00

45.  Levenda, Peter.  SINISTER FORCES: A GRIMOIRE OF AMERICAN POLITICAL WITCHCRAFT.  TrineDay, 2005.  HC, 371pp, illus.  First of an anticipated 3-volume study of the dimension of Evil mingled with the dimensions of politics and violence which make up the fabric of modern society.  The mix is as noxious as anything found in a witch's cauldron.  Levenda did a very credible job on his previous "Unholy Alliance," a chilling work describing an infamous neo-Nazi compound still functioning today in Chile.  As I leaf through this new work, he seems to have done an infinitely better job at keeping his self-control in the face of so many loose ends which are usually cobbled together meaninglessly into uncontrolled orgies of name-dropping by less-disciplined writers.  I have a feeling this is the beginning of a major work which may be much closer to some kind of grim (oire) truth about American political conspiracy than any other work yet produced.  A great work to nail down now, in first edition!!!  $29.95  (Vol 2: December, no date yet for Vol 3)

46.  Leviton, Richard.  SIGNS ON THE EARTH: DECIPHERING THE MESSAGE OF VIRGIN MARY APPARITIONS, UFOS ENCOUNTERS, AND CROP CIRCLES.   Trade softbound.  Those 3 phenomena—UFOs, crop circles and BVM apparitions—are interconnected, and involve an entire body of messages designed to help humanity understand the danger it is in—and, hopefully, the danger which humanity itself is causing, to itself and to all life on Earth.  Unawakened humans (and sub-humans) are doomed.  Only awakened humans will bring their awareness along with themselves when they leave this plane.  Awaken thyself, then, if you wish to continue.  $15.95

47. Lomas, Robert.  TURNING THE HIRAM KEY: MAKING DARKNESS VISIBLE.  2005, Hardcover.  Lomas here returns to his original forte—the lost knowledge of Freemasonry (lost even to Freemasons everywhere!)—and addresses the questions arising from the nature of Masonic ritual.  Simplistic morality plays, or instructional aids with a much deeper purpose?  Mindless rote, or direct teachings from a lost advanced civilization?  Questions like that.  While some Masons might object to their little secrets being opened to the light of day, there are presumably many others, plus a lot of non-Masons, who will gladly learn the nature of that secret knowledge and adapt it to their own struggle to lead a life committed to Understanding and Advancement of Spirit.  $26.95

48.  MacGregor, Rob, and Gernon, Bruce.  THE FOG: A NEVER BEFORE PUBLISHED THEORY OF THE BERMUDA TRIANGLE PHENOMENON.  Llewellyn, 2005.  Trade softbound, 208pp.  The authors hypothesize a rare natural phenomenon—electronic fog—as the mechanism behind some of the disappearances of planes and ships in the Bermuda Triangle, and proceed to formulate a very interesting description of what this fog is, what it can do, and how it can violate our known laws of physics.  This book should be of interest to ufologists, Forteans and aviators, and there ought to be a lot of weathermen and atmospheric scientists who should pay attention to it, too.  Nice job!  $12.95

49. Mandelker, Scott.  UNIVERSAL VISION: SOUL EVOLUTION AND THE COSMIC PLAN. UV Way, 2001.  Trade softbound, 324pp.  A book firmly in the camp of those who believe in a new humanity taking shape within a new consciousness in a new earthly setting.  Gee, now all we have to do is somehow make all those evil baddies like politicians, materialists, corporations, militarists, corrupt cultures, and over 6 billion unfit sub-humans go away so that the sappy may inherit the Earth.  $18.00

50.  Marrs, Jim.  INSIDE JOB: UNMASKING THE 9/11 CONSPIRACIES.  Origin Pr., 2004.  Trade softbound, 216pp.  The gist is that "Powerful U.S. officials must have had foreknowledge of the planned attacks, and then acted from inside to:

              A.  Thwart efforts to prevent the 9/11 attacks

              B.  Remove or cover up criminal evidence

              C.  Hamper inquiries into what happened."

Given the obvious and irreversible course of U.S. policy, driven by the apocalyptically obsessed, fundamentalist Christian Imbecile-in-Chief, George W. Bush, and aided incomprehensibly by corporate masters whose sole concern is not the well-being of humanity, but their next quarterly Wall Street earnings reports, what Marrs says here is not all that misguided.  $16.00

51.  Marrs, Jim.  RULE BY SECRECY: THE HIDDEN HISTORY THAT CONNECTS THE TRILATERAL COMMISSION…AND THE PYRAMIDS. Nibble on this conspiracy-soaked pop-tart.  $15.00

52.  Mehler, Stephen S.  FROM LIGHT INTO DARKNESS: THE EVOLUTION OF RELIGION IN ANCIENT EGYPT.  AUP, 2005.  Trade softbound, 229pp, bibliog., index.  This book investigates whether our modern religions may have developed out of concepts from ancient Egypt, and whether such Western mystery schools as Rosicrucianism also share an evolution from spiritual practices of ancient Egypt.  $16.95

53.  Merriam, Larry and Christopher.  THE SPIRO MOUND: A PHOTO ESSAY.  PHOTOGRAPHS FROM THE COLLECTION OF DR. ROBERT E. BELL.  Merriam Station Bks, 2004.  Lg. HC, limited to 2000 copies.  Pictorial boards, not issued with jacket.  406pp., on fine paper, with over 150 photos, maps and plans.  This book records the 70-year relationship between archaeologist Dr. Robert Bell and the mound, and shows the progress of the various excavations made since the 1930s, along with pictures of various recovered artifacts.  Our copies are autographed by both authors!  Everything comes together so nicely here—AND you will receive a little bonus in the form of a reprint booklet titled The Indian Relic Collectors Guide (36pp).  fine bargain at $49.95

54.  MUFON, eds.  MUFON 2005 INTERNATIONAL UFO SYMPOSIUM PROCEEDINGS.  Mufon, 2005.  Large softbound.  Papers by Richard Dolan Stanton Friedman, Paola Harris, Alan Holt (UFO Propulsion), Roger Leir (new book!!), Edgar Mitchell (astronaut), Scott Ramsey (Aztec), Esen Sekerkarar (Turkish UFOs), Leo Sprinkle and Claude Swanson (Paranormal Evidence).  Please not price change, to $30.00

55. Nabarz, Payam.  MYSTERIES OF MITHRAS: THE PAGAN BELIEF THAT SHAPED THE CHRISTIAN WORLD.  Trade softbound.  No doubt about it—the whole of Christianity can be summed up in 2 (or 3) words:  Sun (Son) Worship.  This book deals with the belief system which inspired the Sun of God and became a way of life for so many men-boy priests, who are in turn trusted and believed in by so many millions of humans incapable of thinking for themselves.  Get your head on straight about the "Christian" faith, $14.95

56.  Nicks, Enola.  SIDE EFFECT: TREATMENT OF A CONTACTEE.  Ecce Nova,

2005.  Trade softbound, 95pp.  To quote:  "The 'alien abduction' phenomenon may

not be the result of ET beings taking us unwillingly from our beds, to perform

terrible experiments on our minds and bodies.  Rather, it appears to be a very hu-

man interference, led by agents of some sinister and powerful force who swoop in

AFTER first contact is made between an alien and a human."Shades of Leah Haley! $9.95

57.  Peet, Preston, ed.  UNDERGROUND!  THE DISINFORMATION GUIDE TO ANCIENT CIVILIZATIONS AND HIDDEN HISTORY.  Bibliographical data not available at press time.  Stock due during October.  One suspects that this book will attempt to undo all of the specious rewriting of orthodox history happening under the new tide of revisionist historians, leaving us with what we used to have—which is by no means the truth or the final word about lost civilizations, global catastrophes, Atlantis, secret societies, etc.  If it's anything different, I'll let you know.  $24.95

58.  Roach, Mary.  SPOOK: Science Tackles the Afterlife.    W.W. Norton & Co., 2005. HC.  What happens when we die? Scientists, it turns out, are as curious as the rest of us. Mary Roach brings her tireless curiosity to bear on an array of contemporary and historical soulsearchers: scientists, schemers, engineers, mediums, all trying to prove (or disprove) that life goes on after death. She begins in rural India with a reincarnation researcher and ends up in a University of Virginia operating room where cardiologists have installed equipment near the ceiling to study out-of-body near-death experiences.   $24.95

59.  Redfern, Nick.  BODY SNATCHERS IN THE DESERT: THE HORRIBLE TRUTH AT THE HEART OF THE ROSWELL STORY.  Paraview Pocket, 2005.  Trade softbound, 248pp.  This new twist on the Roswell legend has generated a wild firestorm of bickering among true believers and more open-minded types—all of which must gladden the heart of the government cover-uppers.  Washington need not do a thing—ufology is perfectly capable of destroying its own reason for existing.  $14.00

60.  Rodwell, Mary.  AWAKENING: HOW E.T. CONTACT CAN TRANSFORM YOUR LIFE.  Avatar Publications, 2005.  trade softbound, 246pp.  The author got into UFO study while studying for an advanced degree in counseling.  To her credit, she seems to have created a guide for the abductee (the real ones, not the repressed and porcine neurotics) which is eminently thorough and practical—nothing in here is a dis-service to abductee, ufologist, or therapist.  $16.95

61.  Sanderson, Ivan.  INVISIBLE RESIDENTS: THE REALITY OF UNDERWATER UFOS.  AUP, 2005.  Trade softbound, 248pp, with new foreword by David H. Childress (19pp, with photos), otherwise facsimile reprint of 1970 original.  Famous Fortean /Cryptozoologist Sanderson's pioneering book about underwater UFOs (or USOs) now back in print with new introduction by David Childress.  $16.96

62.  Schoch, Robert.  PYRAMID QUEST: SECRETS OF THE GREAT PYRAMID AND THE DAWN OF CIVILIZATION.  Hardcover, 352pp.  Another book which carries forward Robert Schoch's research into the parameters of the civilization which existed before civilization as we know it—and which had to exist because the features discovered in familiar cultures such as ancient Egypt all reveal a process of development needing thousands of years; Egyptian civilization didn't just pop up overnight, but had to be based on an advanced earlier society.  If you are reading Hancock and Christopher Knight, by all means read Schoch!  $28.95

63.  Schuessler, John, complier.  STEALTH AIRCRAFT CRASH: BRIEFING DOCU-

     MENT.  MUFON, 2005.  8 1/2 x 11, stapled wraps, unpaged (26).  This is a clip-

ping collection relating to the July 11, 1986, crash of a Stealth Fighter near Sat-

urday Peak in the Sierra Nevadas.  As such, though it does not involve a UFO,

it does involve an exercise in fact-gathering, rumor creation (and clarification), and

national security procedures--insights which can be used by government and

     UFO researcher alike!  $7.00

64.  Shaver, Richard S.  REALITY OF THE INNER EARTH.  Global, 2005.  Lg softbound, paging not given.  Also includes 60-minute audio CD.  The book is likely to be a reprint of "The Hidden World," a 1975 book published by Ray Palmer.  The CD contains a 60 minute interview between "legendary talk show icon Hilly Rose" (Whooo??!?  Legendary???) and Tim Beckley on the Shaver and Inner Earth mysteries.  $22.95

65. Smith, Jerry E., and Piccard, George.  SECRETS OF THE HOLY LANCE: THE SPEAR OF DESTINY IN HISTORY & LEGEND.  AUP, 2005.  Trade softbound, 340pp, photo-illus., bibliog.   The trail of the Spear of Longinus is followed from the forge of Tubal-Cain in Old Testament days to its protection today among "The Knights of the Holy Lance."  But along the way it has fallen into good and evil hands alike, and no man can say where the line separating fantasy from history may be drawn.  That makes the reliability of its whereabouts over thousands of years highly suspect—but what the heck—there must be a whole forest worth of slivers of the "true cross," and a couple of tons of Christ's crucifixion nails, so be glad there is only one Holy Lance to track!  $16.95

66.  Solarion, Rob.  APPOLONIUS OF TYANA AND THE SHROUD OF TURIN.  Author House, 2004.  Trade softbound, paging not known.  The author tries to link Appolonius of Tyana with the historical Jesus, which means that there must be a link with the Shroud of Turin.  I haven't seen the book yet, but the previews seem to indicate a well-researched theory, involving a "botched crucifixion" and other performances worthy of an extraordinary Magus.  $24.00

67.  _____.  PLANET X NIBIRU: SLOW-MOTION DOOMSDAY.  Akuthor House, 2005.  Trade softbound, paging not given.  The author was fascinated by the works of Velikovsky, Sitchin and De Santanilla / Von Deschend.  From the works of these authors he formulated a unique "Cosmic Tree" theory, which involves repeated shifts of the Earth's polar axis, with the resulting catastrophic consequences.  Such an event needs an external cause, for the Earth cannot generate its own loss of orbital equilibrium.  He realized that the rogue nomadic planet Nibiru so prominent in Sitchin's books would be an ideal source of recurring upheavals in our solar system.  In the process of developing his ideas, the author has also resolved the debate as to whether or not ice ages occurred in Earth's past (no—Earth's polar icecaps would show a new position away from the previous polar location, giving the impression of a spreading mass of ice from the new polar position).  Both of this author's books appear to be worth considering—so act immediately on these "best bets."  $20.95

68. Swords, Dr. Michael D.  GRASS ROOTS UFOS: CASE REPORTS FROM THE TIMMERMAN FILES.  FUFOR, 2005.  Trade softbound, 249pp.  Preface by John Timmerman.  Illustrations by author, index.  It's the kind of UFO book you like the most—all cases, no rehashing!  Here are hundreds of previously unreleased UFO sightings and encounters, drawn from the files of UFO and CUFOS patriarch John Timmerman (who did all of the interviews) and presented by another of Ufology's great gentlemen, Mike Swords.  There are over 40 different classifications for the experiences ("Cigars and Variations on the Disk Theme,"  "Really Weird Light"), sketches and charts throughout, and the whole book is presented in a pleasingly informal way—for after all, we're talking jes' plain folks here, the way we all once were about 50 years ago.  While you've got this book in your hands, it's not George W. Bush's hideously twisted version of America you struggle in.  It's Mike Swords' and John Timmerman's saucer-filled heartland!  $19.95

69. Trundle, Robert, PhD.  IS E.T. HERE?  Ecce Nova, 2005.  Trade softbound, 312pp.  Index, bibliog., several appendices, photo illus.  This is the right book at the right time for Ufology.  We are all more or less familiar with basic UFO history, so the book is tilted toward the more important ufological issues of the last 20 years or so—MJ-12, the Mars structures, military projects & moon missions, and organizations within and outside of government which are key players in the UFO debate.  However, all of this is surveyed from within the sphere of philosophical inquiry.  Seeking truth is forever the goal, and this particular search is never allowed to slip into polemic, but remains always grounded in reason and reasonableness.  In the end, it is exactly the remedy Ufology needs at this moment.  $22.95

70.  Tucker, Jim B.  LIFE BEFORE LIFE: A SCIENTIFIC INVESTIGATION OF CHILDREN'S MEMORIES OF FORMER LIVES.  St. Martins, 2005.  HC,  251pp.  It is said that early childhood is the best—and often the only—time in life when memories of previous lives are still retrievable from children.  All too soon television and other mundane stimuli fill the pristine young brain with raw garbage, ending such recall for life.  Here is a full study of the opportunities.  $23.95

71.  Twitchell, David E.  GLOBAL IMPLICATIONS OF THE UFO REALITY.  Infinity, 2003.  Trade softbound, 176pp.  A little book perhaps meant for those who need to recharge their UFO belief-batteries, with sections containing quotes from famous personalities,  saucers in antiquity, reasons for UFO secrecy outdated, government fear of public reaction to being told of UFO reality, etc.  Not going to win the Nobel Prize for saucer literature, but as I said, a little pick-me-up for the flagging spirit.  $13.95

72.  Upton, Charles.  CRACKS IN THE GREAT WALL: UFOS AND TRADITIONAL

METAPHYSICS.  Sophia Perennis, 2004.  Trade softbound, 88pp.  The author is

a student and disciple of Rene Guenon (No. 5 above); this book is taken (though

not verbatim) from a larger work which we shall meet 2 entries from this.  Quoting

from the cover:  "can we really know what UFOs are'  The answer is Yes--but

only if we study them armed with a kind of knowledge that explains the true and

complete structure of the universe--spiritual, psychic and material--a knowledge

that only traditional metaphysics can provide.

"Science can supply one piece of the puzzle, detective work another, psychic

investigation still another.  But only metaphysics can put the puzzle together,

and give us a complete and satisfying picture of the ufo phenomenon."

No nuts 'n bolts here--but you will have a repository in which to place your nuts

'n bolts ufology if you so desire.  There is no book like this in the literature!

     $18.95

73.  Upton, Charles.  LEGENDS OF THE END: PROPHECIES OF THE END TIMES,

ANTICHRIST, APOCALYPSE, AND MESSIAH FROM EIGHT RELIGIOUS

TRADITIONS.  Sophia Perennis, 2004.  Trade softbound, 115pp.  Drawn from a

larger work (next entry).  A work of "comparative eschatology," showing how

Hindu,  Buddhist, Zoroastrian, Jewish, Christian, Muslim, Hopi and Lakota faiths

deal with the common themes of the end of time and the end of the world, and

how each contains a story of its beginning and a myth of its end.  $18.95

74.  Upton, Charles.  THE SYSTEM OF ANTICHRIST: TRUTH AND FALSEHOOD

IN POST-MODERNISM AND THE NEW AGE.  Sophia Perennis, 2004.  Trade

softbound, 562pp.  Ours is an age of cacophony--all noise (very loud, with

virtually everyone yowling or whining some complaint or other regarding

everyone else's agendas), but no detectable signal. With no means of determin-

ing (much less agreeing upon) whose message is valid and in need of prioritiz-

ing within the culture if it is to maintain its stability without collapsing into mere

anarchy, and whose message really is just a load of crap that should be shout-

ed down by force, if necessary, this book should come as a godsend.  It won't,

of course, because if there is one thing post-modernists take pride in, it is their

self-proclaimed right to freedom-of-everything.  Freedom is all, truth & falsehood

count for nothing in such a world as ours.  You will need to shut out the caco-

phony--of your own mind and of your environment--to get the full benefit of this

huge and crucial book.  It is nothing less than an analysis of where we ("we" be-

ing seekers of truth and/or falsehood) are today, and where we need to be,

which is someplace very different.  With long sections on New Age divisions,

Ufology and its inconsistencies, and the nagging, come-uppance kind of sus-

picion in all of us that Apocalypse is juuuusst around the corner, this is a book

which requires a mind prepared for reading by a thorough purging of all of the

clutter which makes concentration impossible, and a clear night-table--emptied

of gew-gaws and other, lesser reading.  Just you and that book, and a very quiet

room. See if you can stand yourself on those terms.   $27.95

75.  Webre, Alfred L.  EXOPOLITICS: POLITICS, GOVERNMENT, AND LAW IN THE UNIVERSE.  Universebooks, 2005.  Trade softbound, 133pp.  An author and a book which look ahead to the time when Earthlings take their first stumbling steps as members of a larger galactic community—the discovery of which is not far off.  That community will have laws and requirements which will supercede our own provincial ones, and humanity as a species should be planning right now for the day in which we make our application for membership in an interstellar society. $19.95

76.  Wells, H.G.  THE WAR OF THE WORLDS.  Inner Light, 2005.  Multi-media package, with book being a reprint of the famous novel, plus Sean Casteel item THE REAL WAR OF THE WORLDS: IS MARS CALLING?  Plus, 1 hour audio CD featuring John Lear lecture: THE ALIEN THREAT DECEPTION.  Plus, another audio CD, the 1939 Orson Welles broadcast of THE WAR FO THE WORLDS.  Have fun, $24.00

77.  White, Bob.  UFO HARD EVIDENCE.  Galde Press, 2005.  Trade softbound, 122pp plus CD-Rom titled THE OBJECT.  Photo-illus.   The object in question, which fell from a UFO during a close encounter the author had at an undisclosed time (1950s), is kind of a cross between a carrot and a conch shell, and apparently made of aluminum.  The book is largely a description of the tests which have been run on the object (and on the author, in the form of polygraph tests, etc.).  In the end, it's one of these "maybe it is, and maybe it isn't" sort of things—but if we don't check out each one as it comes along, we will never recognize when the real thing is found.  $14.95

78.  Wood, Ryan and Robert, eds.  UFO CRASH RETRIEVAL PROCEEDINGS.  NOVEMBER 14-16, 2003, LAS VEGAS NV.  Wood & Wood Enterprises, 2003.  Lg. softbound, 231pp.  Research papers presented at the first Crash Retrieval Conference, including Ryan Wood on the Cape Girardeauk, MO crash of 1941; Art Campbell on the San Augustin crash;  Stan Gordon on Kecksburg, Nick Redfern on British UFO crash cases;  Peter Robbins on the strange Forrestal death;  Linda Howe on metal specimens; Stanton Friedman on new attacks against MJ-12;  Greg Bishop on Project Beta;  Ryan Wood on evidence from National Archives; Robert Wood on authenticating the "Operations Manual"; and Grant Cameron on Presidents and UFOs.  First time in our catalogs,

It's too bad that the wimpish Carter didn't have the guts or the brains to honor his promise to release all government-held UFO information.  The first edition of this book went largely un-noticed.  Perhaps you'll see fit to notice it now.  $14.95, in stock

117. Feschino, Frank Jr.  THE BRAXTON COUNTY MONSTER: THE COVER-UP OF THE FLATWOODS MONSTER REVEALED.  Quarrier Press, 2004.  HC, 350pp, 70 illus. Autographed by Author.  Epilogue by Stanton Friedman.   This new work on the subject is the result of 14 years' worth of research.  It goes far beyond the scope of any previous study, suggesting that the government brainwashed the most important witnesses while covering up the truth about Flatwoods—which was actually an alien rescue mission!  $29.95

118.  _____.  THE BRAXTON COUNTY MONSTER: THE COVER-UP OF THE FLATWOODS MONSTER REVEALED.  Quarrier Press, 2004.  As above in all details, but Includes original piece of artwork by Frank Feschino (picture of the craft) And is also autographed by Frankie May.  These are from a special limited edtion of 50 copies!  I still have 3, $95.00 each

120.  Gardner, Laurence.  THE MAGDALENE LEGACY.  Element, 2005.  HC, Hardbound, 1st printing, 395pp, bibliog, index, photo section. The poor Church fathers just couldn't bring themselves to allow the horrible thought into their feminophobic heads that Christ the biological male, God notwithstanding, would naturally desire a biological female for companionship and more.  A conspiracy of churchmen (and misogynists) had to form in order to ensure that the ghastly secret life of Christ and the Magdalene would remain secret.  Until now.  $27.95

121. Gardner, Laurence.  LOST SECRETS OF THE SACRED ARK.  Element, 2004.  Trade softbound, approx. 383pp.  Nicholas DeVere collaborated with the author on this book—which may account for many of the bizarre statements made about the Ark, the Grail, Templars and bloodlines.  Now in softbound, $18.95

122.  Goble, Edwin G., and May, Wayne N.  THIS LAND: ZARAHEMLA AND THE NEPHITE NATION.  Anc. Am. Archaeology Fdn., 2003.  Trade softbound, 217pp, photo-illus. One need not be a Mormon interested in this debate to enjoy this book, for it contains plenty of fascinating material on the Hopewell Culture and on the Michigan Tablets, a mystery unto itself which is attracting much scholarly attention these days.  There is also much on the odd, obviously non-Indian artifacts unearthed through the centuries in the Midwestern mounds.  $21.95

123.  Golightly, Adam.  THE PRANKSTER AND THE CONSPIRACY.  Paraview, 2004.  Trade softbound, 292pp.    As the Avatar of Discord, Kerry Thornley interacted with Lee Harvey Oswald and Robert Anton Wilson, inspired the "Illuminatus Trilogy" and "gave his anarchic support to the Bavarian Illuminati, a brilliant prank."  It may have been a hilarious life, as the author says, but it was also a tragic one—showing, perhaps, that one messes around with Earthmen's "minds" at one's own peril.  $16.95

124.  Hall, Mark A.  THUNDERBIRDS: AMERICA'S LIVING LEGENDS OF GIANT BIRDS.  Paraview, 2004.  Trade softbound, 208pp.  The last time I saw this book, maybe 12 years ago, it was a self-published item of about 100 pages, and I couldn't get enough of them.  It's finally found a real publisher and is ready for your order!  Its theme is the "Thunderbird," a huge flying thing with a 20-foot wingspan, which has, perhaps, astonished and terrified remote areas of our continent for as long as the legends of it have survived.   $15.95

125.   Hancock, Graham, and Bauval, Robert.  TALISMAN: GNOSTICS, FREEMASONS, REVOLUTIONARIES AND THE 2000-YEAR-OLD CONSPIRACY AT WORK IN THE WORLD TODAY.  Element, 2004.  HC, 562pp.  Notes, bibliog., index, photos.  The theme for this book dates back to the days when Hancock & Bauval were doing The Message of the Sphinx together.  While leaving it out of that book, the theme has proved so important to both authors that they have resurrected it as a freestanding book here.  I would suggest that even in 562 pages they are only scratching the surface of the real conspiracy which involves every human ever born.  $28.95

126.  Humphries, Christopher.  UFOS, PSI AND SPIRITUAL EVOLUTION.  AUP, 2005.  Trade softbound, 274pp.  This book points out that the beginning of the UFO age, in 1947, so soon after the first A-Bomb was used, suggests that there are beings out there who have the ability to jump "hundreds of light years in an instant."  They do this by "teleportation," which is a "power of the mind."  The same can be said of Levitation, another feat that ETs routinely perform.  Therefore, "if we want to go to the stars, it is the mind and the spirit we must study, and not technology."  We must, in the end, grow up if we wish to partake of all that the universe offers.  $16.95
